On 18 July 2024, CARE International in Lao PDR together with government partners held a ceremony to celebrate the 69th Anniversary of the Lao Women’s Union Day in Long District, Luang Namtha Province. The purpose is to provide knowledge about the history of Lao Women’s Day, gender equality, gender-based violence against women and girls, climate change and health education as well as garbage collection, Q&A activities, and exercise.
