CARE International in Lao PDR organized the Lao National Day for Wildlife and Aquatic Animal Conservation

On 12 July 2024, CARE International in Lao PDR together with government and CSO partners organized the Lao National Day for Wildlife and Aquatic Animal Conservation in Long District, Luang Namtha Province.

This year, the CARE has supported 3,500 fish and dropped them to the Vang Pha Hit River. This is to raise awareness among youth to participate in the protection of aquatic and wild animals and also to mobilize the community to help manage and conserve the area and ensure they will not extinct in the future.
