In July 2024, the SuPER WE Coffee Project implemented the Women Leadership Training in Dakchueng District, Sekong Province.
The purpose is to encourage women coffee farmers to learn about leadership skills, work and solve problems together, and increase their understanding of gender. In addition, they also learned basic financial management, business planning and marketing.
With co-funded by the European Union in Laos and implemented by CARE International in Lao PDR, the project has helped coffee farmers make decisions in their families, be able to negotiate coffee prices and make a plan for coffee production to meet the needs of the coffee market.
