On the afternoon of 19 July 2021, the Dak Cheung District Office, CARE International in Lao PDR held a ceremony to hand over medical equipment and vehicle loudspeakers to the Provincial Public Health Department in Sekong Province. All the donations will be sent to the three target community hospitals and 16 health centers in Dak Cheung, Kaleum and Lamam Districts, and will be used for the purpose of improving quality reproductive health services, facilitating mothers’ and children’s access to services, and supporting health centers in communicating complete and correct information to communities during outbreaks of diseases such as COVID-19, dengue, and diarrhea diseases.
