At the beginning of April 2024, the Empowering Communities through Participatory Climate Actions Project (WeAct) of CARE Laos conducted training on the basic knowledge of being a veterinarian for village veterinarians in 15 villages in Long District, Luang Namtha Province. This aims to strengthen village veterinarians on animal husbandry, animal vaccination and basic knowledge on the use of local herbs for the health of animals. After completing the training, they will apply the lessons learned in their villages to ensure that people’s livestock are properly cared for.
