On 13 December 2023, CARE International in Lao PDR held a Closing Ceremony and handed over equipment to local partners of the Promotion of Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child and Adolescent Health Project. The meeting was held to summarize the evaluation results of the project implementation in Sekong Province. The results showed that the project has been successful across many areas of work from 2020-2023, especially in encouraging positive maternal and newborn health behaviors in communities, improving water and sanitation facilities in the health centers, and advocating for the MOH decree on International Code of Marketing Breast Milk Substitutes (BMS).
